We are pleased to announce that Gaby Talarico has joined our board, adding another valuable patient voice to guide and inform our work. Now approaching 30 years old, Gaby was diagnosed with APS Type 1 at the age of 11 and was the first participant in the Natural History Study at the National Institutes of Health. Despite living with APS Type 1, Gaby does not let it define her. She has earned degrees from both Rutgers University and the Institute of Culinary Education and is building a successful career in the food science industry as a Senior Food Scientist at Hershey Foods. Outside of work, Gaby is passionate about experimenting with new recipes, engaging in kickboxing and hot yoga, and exploring new towns and restaurants with friends. She looks forward to contributing to the Foundation’s growth in community building, awareness, and engagement.
