Since the AIRE gene was discovered in 1997, APS Type 1 related research has come a long way, but there is still so much to discover. We are determined to support research that moves toward the discovery of new treatments and ultimately a cure for APS Type 1. It’s up to the APS Type 1 Foundation and our families to help lead the way to making a cure, not just a dream, but a reality.
We are proud of the research our Foundation has funded so far, and for the ways in which we have supported research at the NIH and other incredible research centers.
