Happy Rare Disease Day to our incredible community! Today is a celebration of you. We honor the love and light you share with the world. We draw strength from your resiliency, creativity, and tenacity. We acknowledge your journey and stand with you through the ups and downs. We are proud of what we’ve accomplished together since the Foundation began in 2012. However you decide to recognize Rare Disease Day, we hope that you find a moment to reflect on the positive impact you make today and every day.
Rare Disease Day would not be complete without thanking the medical community that helps keep our “stripes” bright. Click here to watch a recent talk by Dr. Lionakis and others at the NIH as they trace their understanding of APS Type-1 from their first patients to the current clinical trial that is already positively impacting lives. Support their ability to continue this critical research by signing this petition from the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases which calls on Congress to support “Steady and Robust Federal Agency Leadership, Federal Biomedical Research Funding, and Public Health Agency Support”.
We are exceptionally proud of the village we’ve created and are thankful that you are here.
