We are VERY EXCITED to share that we have locked down dates for our 2nd International Symposium on APS Type 1 which will be held at the Stony Brook University of the NY University School System in Stony Brook NY which is located on Long Island NY. The dates of the event are July 13th – 15th 2017 …with a reception scheduled on the 13th and live working sessions on Friday and Saturday. There is no fee for attending this event!

Thanks to Sherri and Dave Seyfert for their work with Stony Brook University Hospital and its Pediatric Endocrine Team and Jennifer Orange on her work with our Key Opinion Leaders, we have a strong cohort of leading APS Type 1 clinicians attending from around the world. This will be an amazing event that will give patients, families, and clinicians an opportunity to learn about the latest science around APS Type 1, gain a better understanding of the condition, research being conducted, and the challenges this condition presents, and share stories and memories with those that walk a similar path.

We are anticipating well over 100 people in attendance (clinicians and families) and you DON’T want to miss this event. We are giving you time to coordinate your calendars and block the dates for 2017. There is a limited number of rooms blocked and discounted at the Hilton Garden Inn at Stony Brook University campus and the Holiday Inn a free 5 minute shuttle ride, as well as on campus housing availability. There will be more information coming your way in the months ahead but we wanted to get to you now so you can begin your planning process and attend this incredible event. You won’t be disappointed!

We look forward to seeing you. If you have any questions you can reach out to me or any other member of the board for details. Please see our website link below for a full list of speakers, complete agenda, and more. Have a wonderful day!
